Jill Castillo is a Recovery Supervisor in the Auto Recovery Department at National Subrogation Services (NSS), where she leads a team of Auto Recovery Analysts handling losses across the country and supports superior claim file handling, recovery strategy, and client service. Since joining NSS in 2016 as a Recovery Analyst, Jill has played an important role in helping advance the firm’s automobile subrogation and insurance recovery efforts. She brings more than 15 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry.
Throughout her career, Jill has developed broad experience in auto claims, bodily injury claims, commercial claims, liability investigations, and subrogation recovery. Her background in claims handling and supervision helps support efficient claim recovery, strong file management, and consistent recovery outcomes for insurers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators. Her experience aligns with NSS’s focus on delivering effective, results-driven subrogation services and maximizing recovery opportunities on automobile losses.
Prior to joining NSS, Jill was a Senior Subrogation Specialist with State Auto, after previously serving as a Bodily Injury Adjuster. She began her insurance career at Nationwide, where she held roles including Commercial Processor, Commercial Underwriting Technician, and Claims Adjuster, later progressing into the handling of complex liability, commercial, and bodily injury claims. These positions provided her with a strong foundation in claims operations, coverage analysis, and recovery management.
Jill earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Management from William Penn University.
