Jerry Nolan is a founding member and Co-Director of National Subrogation Services (NSS), where he oversees client relations, business development, operational strategy, and coordination of the firm’s national network counsel. With more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, including more than two decades focused on subrogation and insurance recovery, Jerry brings extensive expertise in identifying and pursuing recovery opportunities for insurers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators.
Throughout his career, Jerry has handled complex claims involving Property, Automobile, Med Pay/PIP, and Inland Marine losses, with a particular focus on maximizing subrogation recovery through early claim identification, liability investigation, and strategic recovery litigation when necessary. His background in high-exposure recovery matters and claims management allows him to guide insurers in strengthening their subrogation programs and improving overall recovery outcomes.
Prior to co-founding NSS, Jerry served as Assistant Vice President of Claim Recoveries for Reliance National Insurance Company and as a Recovery Specialist with St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company. He has also held supervisory and adjusting roles with Liberty Mutual and the American International Adjustment Company.
Jerry is an active contributor to the subrogation and insurance claims community and frequently presents at industry conferences, including those hosted by the National Association of Subrogation Professionals (NASP), Property & Liability Resource Bureau (PLRB), and the National Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (NAMIC).
He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Management from St. John’s University.
