Dan D’Imperio is Co-Director of National Subrogation Services (NSS), where he oversees new business development, marketing, and the firm’s technology platform, SubroSpeed™ and Subroforce™. With more than 30 years of experience in the property and casualty insurance industry, including more than 20 years focused on subrogation and insurance recovery, Dan brings extensive expertise in claims handling, claims management, and recovery strategy for insurers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators.
Throughout his career, Dan has worked across a broad range of property and casualty claims environments, helping organizations strengthen subrogation programs, improve claim recovery outcomes, and identify missed recovery opportunities through strategic processes and technology-driven solutions. His leadership in predictive analytics and claims recovery supports NSS’s mission to deliver efficient, data-informed subrogation services that maximize recoveries and streamline workflow for insurance carriers and risk professionals.
Prior to joining NSS, Dan served as Assistant Vice President for Recovery Services International, an ESIS subsidiary. He also held positions with Royal Insurance as a Claims Manager and Reliance Insurance as a Home Office Consultant, further deepening his experience in insurance claims, recovery operations, and subrogation management.
Dan earned his Associate in Claims (AIC) designation in 1990 and his Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation in 1995. He also contributes thought leadership to the industry on topics involving subrogation strategy and technology.
