Sandra Covolo is Senior Manager, Client Engagement and Operations at National Subrogation Services (NSS), where she focuses on strengthening client relationships, supporting new business development, and optimizing operational processes across the organization. She joined NSS in 2024 and brings more than 25 years of experience in the insurance claims industry, with deep expertise in claims operations, litigation management, underwriting collaboration, and customer-focused process improvement.
Throughout her career, Sandra has worked across multiple areas of the property and casualty insurance environment, helping organizations improve claims performance, streamline internal workflows, and enhance service delivery. Her background in operational leadership and technology implementation supports NSS’s mission to deliver efficient, data-driven subrogation and insurance recovery solutions for insurers, self-insured entities, and third-party administrators.

Prior to joining NSS, Sandra served as Senior Vice President of Claims for United Automobile Insurance Company, where she was involved in all aspects of claims, litigation, underwriting, and marketing. She also played an integral role in developing a new claims system that included an online self-service claims portal, reflecting her experience in claims innovation and operational modernization.

Sandra is also part of NSS’s broader thought leadership and business development efforts as the company continues to expand its presence in the subrogation and insurance recovery marketplace.
